Flash on English for Tourism is suitable for students who are studying for a career in the tourism industry. Pre-intermediate / Intermediate CEFR A2 / B1 11 short and manageable units offer thorough vocabulary development, skills practice in realistic contexts, and frequent opportunities for discussion.

English4Hotels is designed to help train the following hotel staff: hotel management, hotel reception, concierges, housekeeping, restaurant staff, tour guides, and most other hotel staff positions.

Our custom-built program features a wide variety of American English and British English language learning activities including: Reading, Writing, Speaking, Multiple Choice, Spelling, and Listening Comprehension.

How does it work? What's included?

We like to think of ourselves as an 'interactive online textbook' with a built-in 'certification program' that can be used in either 100% online or blended learning classrooms. The course is delivered through a standard web browser and works great on any desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone with Internet connection.

These worksheets are particularly suited to the travel flashcards: Summer Plans; Your Last Vacation / Holiday; Choosing a Vacation / Holiday; You can find a longer list of travel-themed worksheets here. There are lots of situation-based handouts, dealing with passport control.
  3. Nearly everyone has to travel, and by learning the ESL travel vocabulary on this page, you will be able to talk about travelling in English. There is a vocabulary list on this page that has many vocabulary items with definitions for you to either learn or refer to when needed. There are also flashcards for you to download with the travel vocabulary items on then.
Tourism

The included subject matter and activities have been written and designed by TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) experts.The difficulty ranges from 'Pre-intermediate' to 'Advanced' level English according to the CEFR (Council of Europe Language Level) scale.

This is technically classified as an ESP (English for Specific Purposes) course, teaching hundreds of relevant vocabulary terms for the Hotel and Tourism industry.
